Ball valve, also known as spray gun check valve, detailed introduction
¥230
The ball valve, also known as the spray gun check valve, is a type of valve specifically used in the blast furnace coal injection field. Below is a detailed introduction to it:
- Structural Design: According to the relevant utility model patent, the ball valve mainly includes components such as a valve body, a circular block, and a conical piston plate. The circular block is fixed on the inner surface of the valve body, and a conical hole is opened inside it. An annular sealing gasket is fixedly connected to the inner surface of the conical hole. The conical piston plate is arranged inside the circular block, with a T-shaped pressing block fixedly connected to one side and at least six V-shaped metal shrapnels fixedly connected to the other side. One end of each V-shaped metal shrapnel is fixed on one side of the inner wall of the valve body. In addition, one end of the valve body is fixedly connected to a spray gun insertion pipe, and the other end is fixedly connected to a coal powder discharge pipe. At least three elastic sealing rings arranged equidistantly are also fixedly connected to the inner surface of the spray gun insertion pipe.

- Working Principle: When the coal injection rod is inserted into the valve body, it will squeeze the T-shaped pressing block, causing the T-shaped pressing block to move to one side, which in turn drives the conical piston plate to move out from the inside of the circular block. At this time, the valve opens, forming a connected exhaust channel, and the coal powder can be smoothly discharged. When the coal injection rod is pulled out, under the action of the elastic force of the six V-shaped metal shrapnels, the conical piston plate is squeezed back into the circular block to achieve sealing and prevent the high-temperature gas in the furnace from overflowing.

- Performance Characteristics: The ball valve has the characteristics of good air tightness, strong pressure resistance, compact structure and high reliability. It is suitable for media such as coal powder, water, oil and dust-containing gas. The applicable temperature is ≤350°C, and there are various specifications available, including DN20, DN25, DN32, DN40 and other specifications.
- Product Types: According to different installation scenarios and working condition requirements, the ball valve has various types such as elbow type, date pit type and square type.
- Function: The ball valve is mainly used to connect the coal injection rod and the blast furnace straight blow pipe. It automatically opens when the coal injection rod is inserted into the blast furnace and automatically closes when the coal injection rod is pulled out from the blast furnace tuyere. It functions to prevent the hot gas in the blast furnace from overflowing, control the coal powder injection process, and ensure the safe and stable operation of the blast furnace coal injection system.
